The heart of the Amana tradition is found in its churches. The Amana Community Church, built in 1865, in Homestead, is now a museum open to the public. The church features a main hall which seats 200 and a smaller adjacent room that seats 60.

The Amana Heritage Museum is one of Iowa's premier historical attractions, featuring three 19th century communal buildings. An auditorium and adjoining reception room are available for gatherings of up to 80 people. A/V equipment available.

The Festhalle Barn in the village of Amana is one of Amana's great barns. Originally used for dairy cattle, this barn has received extensive restoration and is now home to Oktoberfest activities, the Tannenbaum Forest and other events and is available for your meeting or convention use. Built in 1856, this building once was a traditional Amana Colonies communal kitchen. Opened in 1940 as a restaurant, the recipes for many of the dishes enjoyed during the communal time are still used at the Ox Yoke Inn.
